Reviews Overview

Most Liked

Customers rave about the light, crispy batter that envelopes the fish, especially the haddock and cod, ensuring each bite is flavorful and satisfying. The generous portion sizes of both the fish and chips often impress, leaving diners feeling fulfilled without breaking the bank. The kebabs are another highlight, with options like Chicken Shish and Doner Kebab winning favor with regulars. Friendly service has also been a common theme in reviews, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. The late-night hours are a big plus for those seeking a tasty snack after a night out.

Most Disliked

Some diners have noted that during peak hours, the wait time can stretch a bit longer than expected, especially for fresh fish. While the staff are generally friendly, a few have mentioned occasional lapses in service quality during busy times. The seating options may feel a bit limited during rush periods, making it necessary for families to plan ahead if they want to dine in comfortably. Additionally, while the prices are affordable, a handful of patrons desire even broader menu selections, particularly vegetarian options beyond the traditional offerings.

First time trying this Fish and chip shop. It was beautifully cooked, light crispy batter. Chips and curry sauce were great too. We even talked about how good it was first thing this morning. We'll be back!

Batter is lovely and crispy. Only a few short minutes wait. Reasonable prices compared to some fish and chip shops. Staff friendly enough. Will go again.

Excellent local chip shop. Has good long opening hours, more than you usually get with chip shops. For example, they afternoons during the week and on Sunday evenings. The service is friendly and the food tasty, with big portion sizes. Prices are about middling I would say, but worth it for the quality and portion sizes. Can often be busy early evening time.
